The Reboot Your Worship: Pandemic Edition webinar series starts September 20, 2020!

This webinar will apply to you whether you’re in a paid and accountable or volunteer worship-leadership role, including music ministers, youth and children & family ministers and lay leaders who are part of a worship team. For this webinar series, Dr. McFee is developing content to suite a variety of congregations (sizes, resources, staff, volunteers) and will encompass churches who are doing worship online, in person, or a hybrid. This semi-annual series is being tuned (and turned!) toward the extraordinary pandemic context in which we are being the church. This is a wonderful moment for learning and deepening our capacity for offering engaging worship. We are excited for you to attend!

DR MCFEE WILL ADDRESS THESE 5 POINTS OVER THE COURSE OF THE FREE-6-WEEK WEBINAR SERIES:

  1. Intentional Communal Spiritual Journeys - How do we help people feel they’re part of a community even when distanced? How do we know what formats are right for our context?

  2. Congregational Participation - How do we keep people engaged in our online formats and how do we invite participation when music-making and moving around is limited in adapted in-person worship?

  3. Sensory-Rich Communication - How do we improve our skill sets when we are more dependent on technology for communication?

  4. Deeply Spiritual Leadership - How do we connect through a screen or from afar? How do we offer the deep spirituality we need to sustain us in this time? And how do we do that as leaders, when we ourselves are burned out and grieving?

  5. Improving Flow, Transitions and Energy - What are the best ways to stay “in the moment” when technology creates stilted moments and technical difficulties?
